This quartet races off at the starter's pistol and rarely takes a break. They've got a way with melody for a hard-rocking band with such a dense sound. If "Song 2" by Blur is a 10 on the catchy riff meter, "Vicious" is at least an 8. If you're into alternative-pop, this album deserves a listen. ~ Mark Allan
