On YOUR ANCHOR, his 2008 debut on the Barsuk label, Portland, Oregon-based singer/multi-instrumentalist Danny Seim once again operates under his long-running Lackthereof alias. Seim, who also drums for the indie-rock act Menomena, offers up a suitably percussive yet relatively subdued set of lo-fi tunes on this 10-track outing, most notably the chiming "Chest Pass" and the bass-heavy "Doomed Elephants."
