An instrumental post-rock trio from Montreal led by multi-instrumentalist Pietro Amato (who also plays with Bell Orchestre), Torngat's fifth album moves away from the live-in-the-studio sound of their earlier releases in favor of a more processed, somewhat alien ambience that incorporates significant amounts of sound manipulation.
